Im only on Sseason 4 ep 3 but the cartel leader brought up a great question. Why not kill Darelene? Marty is clearly smart so why would he willingly ls an uncontrollable person who openly competes with him and fuck with his kids. The sheriff just died so Darlene has no protection. Also as a side note, it's funny how Jonah is so pissy at his family for literally being forced to kill ben but not worried about Darlene being a psychopath who is far more brutal and murderous.

2022.01.22 02:02 Snoo-20116 I cheated. Now worried she’s cheating.
Long distance relationship for 3 mos, been talking 6-7. We see each other once a month usually for a few days.
I cheated on her a week after we made it official. Still attempt to cheat and have a dating account active.
She’s been a rock in my hard time right now and I feel like a piece of shit because she doesn’t deserve that. She’s nice.
But I’m always paranoid of long-distance and lately we’ve just been talking less and lesss or having more rifts. She says it’s because I told her I wasn’t really prioritizing the relationship like that (without saying more details) and she’s just kinda laying off the extra calls and texts since, being vague about stuff. Saying she’ll call and doesn’t.
Why do I feel like this? Is this a mental condition? Shit makes no fucking sense, logically. If she is, that’s my karma. I cheat but don’t want to get cheated on and would be jealous, hurt.

2022.01.22 02:02 Cryptid_Muse My Thoughts on Mattias and Generations (HTSC)
My brain is churning and if I don't type this out it'll hold my sleep hostage forever. In case the flair wasn't clear, there are many spoilers ahead so don't read any further unless you've finished the entire How to Survive Camping experience.
I've been on the scene since the beginning, though it took a while to discover it became a series then a bit more to pick up the pattern and stay up to date. So I didn't pick up on this tidbit from the first post until tonight when I was reading it to my kid for bedtime. “The campground has been in my family for three generations.”
Oh.. yeah. Cool. You mutter to yourself, but that tidbit kicked off a slew of thoughts in my brain and I now present to you what I believe to be the campground genealogy. Let's walk down the same path that my brain went in.
We know Mattias isn't Kate's grandpa, because her grandpa was killed by The Lady in Chains and Mattias's remains were found by Kate in the gray world. So that would make Kate no less than the fourth owner of the land, so her statement is still true. Three generations had owned it prior to her.
We see posts about when her parents worked the land, and then we see mentions of when her grandparents owned the land. Then we start seeing stories about Mattias when Kate begins to prepare for her Ascension.
So Mattias would have to be her Great-Grandpa and the first generational owner of the land, correct? Well.. sort of. Let's come back to that later.. because now we need to talk about The Thing in The Dark (TITD), The Girl who Weeps (TGWW), and The Beast. I'll try to keep it brief.
We know TGWW and the Beast came on the same night. The son of the family believed TGWW was his dead sister's spirit haunting them because they weren't able to bury her properly. The mother dies, then the father dies later that night to the beast. Leaving only the son alive. I believe this son is Mattias.
We also know that a little girl died at the hands of the TITD. He ripped the gray world apart trying to save her. I believe the little girl that died was Mattias's sister and that TITD. So far we have..
Mattias's Parents (1), Mattias (2), Kate's Grandpa (3) Kate's Parents (4) and then Kate (5). But, if you consider the story a bit further, You can go back to having Kate be the fourth owner. How? This is where it gets hard for me to articulate...
The best way I could explain my thought process is to say that an heirloom doesn't become an heirloom until it is passed down. Mattias's parents acquired the land, but Mattias was the first to have the land passed down to him. Making him the first generation to live and die on the land he was born on. Since he was old enough to survive without parents, one can assume that he was also old enough to own land (rather than be taken in by another family).
Thus why TGWW and the Beast didn't appear until a year after his sister died. If his family had left at the time of her death, perhaps it'd have never become old land to begin with and would have only had TITD prowling on it. It began with the death of a girl and ended with the death of a woman.

2022.01.22 02:02 Deadlift420 New to git bash and IDE
I am a developer with a couple years xp that just switched jobs recently. My previous(first) job was a full Microsoft shop and we used VS/azure and barely ever used git bash terminal because VS git UI is so complete at this point.
My new job they use git bash. I’m a bit confused how it works in tandem with an IDE(rider).
Can someone explain how one would use git bash with an IDE to branch/push code?

2022.01.22 02:02 Good-Ad2536 Let's at Least Try - Day 21
Hello everyone. My father was born in 1965 and loves movies, but has never been interested in the superhero genre, as it gets a bit repetitive for him. He has evidently never read a comic book in his life. I asked him about the ones he has seen and this is what we were able to compile: Superman (1978), Superman II, Superman III, Batman (1989), Batman Returns, Batman Forever, Blade (1998), X-Men (2000), Blade II, Spider-Man (2002), X2, Spider-Man 2, Blade: Trinity, Batman Begins, X-Men: The Last Stand, Superman Returns, Spider-Man 3, The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises. As you may notice, he has never seen a single MCU movie. This is because by the time the MCU was born, he had already seen so many superhero movies that he found it insubstantial to spend movie tickets on it. The only reason he saw The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises was because he loved the serious, realistic tone of Batman Begins.
Anyway, since for him getting into the MCU is no big deal, I decided to run a little experiment. I want to test the statement that "chronological order is useless as a first viewing, as it doesn't give you the full experience". My dad knows well how superheroes work in movies, so I'll let him decide if watching these movies in chronological order for the first time is a good or bad thing.
Today, January 21, we saw Ant-Man and the Wasp.
He had a very good time watching this movie, but confessed to me that that was more due to the comedy than the characters themselves. In the first movie, Scott Lang struck him as a very good character, with a simple motivation and skill set that was quite entertaining to watch. Going into this one, my dad saw that they immediately picked up on the most important part of his core, his relationship with little Cassie, but going forward that relationship wasn't developed any further. Sure, the cute little girl has a rather tender and touching conversation with Lang before entering the third act, but that's pretty much all she has relevant to do. Consequently, the main plot turns more towards Hope Van Dyne and the rescue of her mother. Nothing necessarily bad because Hope's Wasp fascinated him, but he felt that all the excitement and spectacle offered to the girl came at the cost of taking Ant-Man out of the picture and he would have liked, in keeping with the film's title, for both characters to have equal development where they could play out their flaws and virtues on par. Scott suddenly went from being a daring engineer capable of getting out of a tight spot without the need for a suit, a man with clear virtues, to being a total mess and Hope went from being the girl with deep parenting issues, a woman with clear flaws, to being an agent of perfection with disposable doubts. My father felt that the changes in both characters were too drastic and sudden. Not being able to witness organic slips of their characters, he saw them as completely different people. Neither suffered from being a writer's bad idea, but rather they didn't have enough time to not seem like a shallow and quickly discarded concept.
As for the villain, he feels she is huge improvement over the first film's antagonist. This time she is a human with personal problems explained and more importantly, shown. She has a deep trauma of loss and constant pain. The whole concept of her material mismatch seemed like a fascinating idea that made sympathizing with her suffering easy. The problem is that that sympathy came very abruptly and aggressively, telling a flashback story of considerable length. My dad would have liked to have learned about her slowly, giving little hints until finally learning who she is at the climax, similar to Zemo's path in Civil War. My dad feels the character desperately needed a touch of mystery. And another problem is that all the tragedy embracing Ghost was wasted in a rather brief climax where everything is settled with what is, in my dad's opinion, the weakest character in the film, Janet.
That leads to the big problem my father had when analyzing the film. The movie doesn't have much to say, it's not a sequel that tries to challenge ideas proposed by the predecessor. The characters want something, try to get it, fail, try again and get it. Without going through a real emotional journey, or impediments that aren't just physical, about what they do. And my dad's big theory is that the movie had a huge fear of a bittersweet ending (because the mid-credits scene left him more confused than satisfied, I'll get to that later). To explain this point, my dad talked to me about other MCU movies, where I was also able to contribute to the conversation, as it was also a glaring problem for me. In The Winter Soldier, Steve gets what he wants, destroying Hydra and bringing Bucky to his senses, but he does so at the cost of destroying SHIELD and having no contact with Bucky at all. In Guardians Vol. 2, Peter gets what he wants, to defeat his father and avenge his mother, but he does so at the cost of losing his emotional father. Even in Age of Ultron, the Avengers get what they want, defeating Ultron and proving that they are not what is wrong with the world, but they do so at the cost of a young boy's life and the retirement of four key members of the team, forcing the team to start virtually from scratch. In this one, the characters get what they want, rescuing Janet, relieving Ghost, serving house arrest, saving the security company, etc. It is, in my father's humble opinion, too perfect. Even the antagonist doesn't pay any kind of price for her extremely dangerous actions.
Now, my dad also made something clear to me. All of the above is him being totally critical once he finished the movie, but the truth is that he enjoyed it much more than other movies that do have complex arcs and bittersweet endings. That was due to the pitch-perfect comedy, visual effects that became much more vivid and entertaining, action sequences that were amazing, and an overall tone that didn't take itself too seriously. He thinks it's a highly digestible film because it knows how to manipulate the naive mind of the viewer well, and my father respects that, which is why he doesn't put it lower in his ranking. Now, going to the main topic of the experiment, I can safely say that having seen Captain Marvel and Black Widow before having seen Ant-Man and the Wasp in no way negatively affected his experience. And having seen this one before Avenger: Infinity War didn't ruin anything for him either, now I'm talking about that.
(The final scene left him extremely confused. The first thing his mind thought was that someone kidnapped them, but he quickly dismissed that because the scene did not strongly suggest it. Then he settled on someone having shrunk them. He said to me "Wait, did someone just kill them? Or did they shrink them?". Obviously I didn't answer him anything so as not to ruin the experience. His strongest theory points to the bored guy in the suit who ran off with the Pym particles at the end of the first movie, I reminded him that his name is Mitchell lmao He thinks Mitchell managed to make them work and was there nearby waiting for Scott to be put into the Quantum Realm so he could shrink the other three and steal the van later. He told me it's one of the most effective cliffhangers he's ever seen because he's desperate to know what happened. This will sound selfish, but I am deeply happy that he is ridiculously lost hahaha)
My dad's ranking so far:
1.- Thor: Ragnarok
2.- Captain America: Civil War
3.- Iron Man 3
4.- Guardians of the Galaxy
5.- The Avengers
6.- Iron Man
7.- Captain America: The Winter Soldier
8.- Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2
9.- Doctor Strange
10.- Spider-Man: Homecoming
11.- Black Panther
13.- Avengers: Age of Ultron
14.- Ant-Man and the Wasp
16.- Captain America: The First Avenger
17.- Iron Man 2
18.- Captain Marvel
19.- Thor: The Dark World
20.- Black Widow
21.- The Incredible Hulk
