Some things to consider regarding VSF

2021.12.01 12:55 Saiyan_Saiyan_No_Mi Some things to consider regarding VSF

VSF is gone, sure there might be a spiritual successor (there always is,) but them and their movements are gone.
That Kermit that you're about to drop nearly a grand on was most likely a RL from 8 months ago, being sold double of what it was worth. As I said in another post, for $800 to $1200 (depending on model,) more you can buy a used, but Gen Seamaster, which while it's not a Rolex, neither is that Kermit. Especially if your plan is to franken the watch, which is tempting if your price of entry is $350 to $400, instead of $800+.
That lauded VS3235 movement, might look and feel nice (so many of you are hyped up about the 72hr power reserve,) until you need servicing on it and it needs repair parts. Factory that made it isn't making it, so your only recourse is gen parts, which I shouldn't have to say won't be cheap. Even worse are the VSF Omegas where they don't have replacement parts available (although some have been able to drop in an 2836 in the case.) ZF and even Clean to an extent (they really need to work on their bezels) will give you 99% the satisfaction, but for half the price or hell, wait until another factory steps up to fill VSF shoes, which they will, you all just need to be patient.

2021.12.01 12:55 AceOfPyrite Siege School

Hi all, I’m running another Siege School stream tonight at 7.30pm GMT that might prove useful to many on this subreddit.
Each week I’m breaking down and explaining some fundamentals of the game to hopefully increase understanding of exactly why we do things and how it can help you to improve your game. I know it can be frustrating just being told not to do something by someone in voice chat but not understanding why, that doesn’t help anyone learn.
Last week I covered rotations/reinforcements and this week I will talk about drones and default plant spots.
I also let my community choose a map and we go over it in detail with a breakdown of each viable site, how to defend and attack and common setups. I do all this with the aid of telestration style drawing on the maps along with full discussion and explanation of the why, not just the what.
Last but not least we get into a game and destroy a lot of the surfaces so I can demostrate useful lines of sight and angles that can be gained.
Questions are absolutely welcomed throughout and both myself and some of the more experienced players in chat (which includes competitive/pro players and staff sometimes) will answer them all.
Would be great to see you there at 7.30pm GMT

2021.12.01 12:55 P3rzival1 Valgrind - Conditional jump or move depends on uninitialised value(s)

Hello! I am quite new to programming, I just took it up a few weeks ago when I started college. For a homework, we were to create a code for the Caesar cipher. The input is always the following: length encrypted string semi-correct string The code should shift the encrypted message 52 times (through lowercase and upper case alphabet), and then decide which string was the most similar to the semi-correct message. My attempt at this was quite successful I would like to say, but there are two problems with my code: Some characters just don't obey the laws that others do, and I don't quite get as to why this happens, although I have managed to isolate some examples. This always happens when a character is supposed to shift from lowercase to uppercase alphabet. For example, this input: 10 xUbbemehbT XYlloworld
... should output Helloworld, but instead outputs elloworld, with the value of the unknown symbol being 82. However, the larger problem is with Valgrind, as it gives me the following message. which concerns me:

2021.12.01 12:55 drynionph Brand New Shiryo - Inu - DAPP based game & NFT’s in development! - Liquidity Lock - Launching Now on BSC

Welcome to Shiryo - Inu

Shiryo - Inu launching now on Ethereum and it seems that play to earn game tokens are still one of the best niches to buy in DeFi! The roadmap details a fully functional trading card based game which will allow for the earning of the native token through different incentives including weekly competitions!
Contract Address: 0x0e675f042b4C4053062e94ff4738e233D846A31b
The team recently released concepts for the trading cards on their Telegram group and their design team has done an amazing job, this is a gem in the making and it is still incredibly early if you get in now. Having only been life for less than 24 hours the token is sitting at just above a $1M market cap which is incredibly low for a play to earn game, the team is really active on Telegram and the holders seem to be diamond handed after seeing the potential in this project!
Everything about this project has been super clean so far, the chart looks good and the website and concepts released so far have been on point.
The whitepaper is to be released today alongside more mockups of the concept for the game, the marketing has been on point with calls from all the biggest names on Telegram and Twitter. The developer even just hired a social media specific marketing agency to help get even more eyes on the project, Shiryo-Inu is about to become synonymous with the likes of Floki and Mononoke - Inu, don’t sleep on this one!

For me it’s trying to be an individual. There are all these different groups of people that others try to fit into to feel like they belong to something, rather than make their own group and walk their own path of life.

2021.12.01 12:55 BengalOwner420 Can I ask a question?

This might not be a good question as it’s up to how I feel most likely, but I don’t have a answer and Google doesn’t help. Would I be considered gay or bisexual if I am into women and am into trans women, but I am in no way attracted to guys. What would that be called? As much as this post might seem like a joke it’s not and thank you for your time!

2021.12.01 12:55 whatdoyoudesire My Dad's gf keeps asking me for money

I had a little over 1400 in my bank account, but now it's down to 1160. She asked for small-ish amounts and I don't mind helping her out, but that's WAY too much in just about a week or two. I'm also trying to save up for college too and I can't do that if I keep giving her money. So, how do I tell them that I can't give her money anymore without being rude or feeling bad?

2021.12.01 12:55 Missing42 Analyzing a risky website, virusTotal vs Any.run

I accidentally visited "deepl.co"... I tried to click away immediately, since by now I'm worldly enough to know that a misspelled url can mean problems, but I didn't do it fast enough to not watch my browser being redirected through several URLs. I then did what I always do with risky urls - I put them through a VirusTotal Scan. Which surprisingly said it was safe. I kind of doubted that, so I tried looking for an alternative. I then stumbled upon "any.run", which uses a VM to emulate the process and take a look at what's happening. I have no idea what I'm looking at though since some of the info is contradictory. Here is the report: https://any.run/report/f911d77149687168ede3603d05928c1b920d5fccaf00f6ac2e4eb5fd46d22dcf/66f8e0a7-7038-48da-9bff-b5bba3b27e5b Can anyone take a look? Is it indeed malicious? Should I worry? Which is right, VirusTotal or Any.run? Help would be so appreciated. I'll be scanning my PC in the meanwhile... =)
